The waves off the St. Lawrence River, which could be seen from a full wall of windows from Bonnie Castle, were a striking blue, matching the sunny blue skies above it. A little tucked away spot at Bonnie Castle, overlooking Bolt Castle, is where Jeremy and Olivia shared their first kiss, so having their reception here was a no-brainer and a spot we had to take J. & O. for a few photos in their wedding attire. Olivia and Jeremy found me through Jeremy’s cousins, Heather and Mike Moran, whose wedding I captured back in 2011, and who still stand to be one of my favorite couples. This is what this calling is all about, friends! It’s connecting with people and building relationships and truly appreciating who we get to meet along the way! My favorite weddings to capture are ones where the couple was referred by a close friend or family member. From the second I met with Jeremy and Olivia, I knew we would make a great fit! Olivia’s sweet nature and amazing tastes, mixed with Jeremy’s on board, attention to detail, made for a dream couple! You know what Jeremy, the GROOM, said to us during a meeting to tie up final details? “What’s going to be more important? A drink at cocktail or your photos?” What?! Head spin! We almost NEVER get a groom as devoted to photos as Jeremy was for his sweet bride. In that moment, I knew she found a good one! Thanks, Jeremy! And thanks to our collaborative planning, J&O were able to enjoy cocktail hour on the deck of Bonnie Castle overlooking that gorgeous lake AND get amazing photos! Cheers to two of the sweetest, most in love couples around! And thank you, Bonnie Castle for hosting a perfect party for this perfect couple!
Olivia’s bouquet came from Gray’s Flowers in Watertown, NY and were just so stunning!!
